2025 is the perfect time to get involved with the Rams! Whether you’re brand new to rugby or have years of experience, we offer a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment where you can develop your skills, stay active, and be part of a great team.
How to Get Started
The best way to see if rugby is right for you is to come to a training session—absolutely no prior experience needed.
📅 Training Days: Every Tuesday & Thursday
⏰ Time: Arrive 6:00 PM for a 6:30 PM start
📍 Location: Edinburgh Oval, Curtin University

🚗 Parking & Transport: Free parking next to the field + Curtin Central Bus Station nearby
📌 Where to Meet: On the field near the car park or under the verandah at the Clubhouse
🏠 Facilities: You can get changed at the Clubhouse (if it’s open, see the map above). If not, change rooms and toilets are available inside Curtin Stadium.
New to Rugby? We’ve Got You!
We know that stepping into a sport can be daunting, so we’re happy to support you as you build your skills and confidence.
Our experienced players and leadership team are happy to help with guidance, tips, and mentorship.

Why Join the Rams?
The Rams are competing in the 2025 RugbyWA season and training for the International Gay Rugby Australasian Cup in Auckland this September.
Both are fantastic opportunities to learn the game, improve your skills, and be part of something bigger—with IGR tournaments offering an incredible social experience alongside the competition.
