Getting Involved
🏉 Want to Play Rugby? Come meet the Rams!
2026 is the perfect time to get involved with the Rams! Whether you’re brand new to rugby or have years of experience, we offer a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment where you can develop your skills, stay active, and be part of a great team.
How to Get Started
The Rams have wrapped up the 2025 RugbyWA season, and will play in the International Gay Rugby Australasian Cup in Auckland this September. After that, we’ll go into summer hibernation, with some fun non-contact rugby sessions along the way.
The best way to see if rugby is right for you is to come and meet us at one of our community events during Pride Month in November, or at a Have a Try Day over summer.
📅 Club Day: Saturday 22 November, Supreme Court Gardens
📅 Fairday: Sunday 23 November, Supreme Court Gardens
📍 The Rams will have a stall at both events—come say hello!

Over the summer we’ll host Have a Try Days—open sessions where you can meet new people, learn some basic rugby skills, and see what the Rams are all about.
These will lead into the Rams Academy program in early 2026, a structured series designed to teach people of any skill level everything you need to know about rugby so you can hit the ground running with the team.
We accept people of any skill level—including if you’ve never played sport before. Our coaches and players will support you every step of the way.
